This year, the Imagination Movers will rock the nation with their “In a Big Warehouse” concert tour.
Did you know this New Orleans-based group started in 2003 as friends that met after their kid’s bedtimes to write songs and brainstorm a children’s TV show? By 2005, these dads were selling out local venues, and in 2008 the blue-suited band started brainstorming to solve “Idea Emergencies” on Disney Junior’s “Imagination Movers.”
The national tour started February in the band’s home state of Louisiana and will visit more than 50 cities for a total of 100 shows.
“Nothing beats the excitement of playing live rock-n-roll with the help of thousands of great fans. We encourage our audience to be an essential part of the show by singing, clapping, shouting, dancing and generally letting the energy of a real rock concert lift their spirits,” said Rich Collins (aka Mover Rich). “Everybody needs a nap after one of our gigs. Including the grownups and especially us!”
Tickets are already on sale at Ticketmaster.com. Special fan VIP packages are available in some cities. Visit Imagination Movers online (www.imaginationmovers.com) for more details.
